Use of cookies

What law applies to cookies?
Where the UK`s Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (“PECR”) and the EU`s Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (“PECD”) apply, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies (functional, analysis and performance, or advertising cookies) before they are placed on your device.
In other regions, local laws may allow a different approach, as explained in the Regional consent section below. We use a Cookie Notification Banner on your first visit and when you reopen your preferences. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland can accept all, reject all, or customize categories.
Regional consent
Depending on your location, we apply different cookie consent rules when you visit greip.io:

We determine your region from your IP address country code provided by Cloudflare when you visit our website. This processing is necessary to apply the correct consent rules.
