What is a BIN?
A BIN (Bank Identification Number), also called an IIN (Issuer Identification Number), is the leading digits on a payment card. Most cards use the first six digits; some issuers use up to eight.
Those digits identify the card issuer and help merchants and platforms validate card details before a payment is processed.
